Important Information
  • All Staff: Choose ONE Keynote and ONE Lunch

  • Required Sessions: Attend sessions that are noted as required for your role. This will be communicated from the department or area you work with (Exceptional Children, Student Services, etc.). 

  • Filtering Sessions: You can filter sessions by clicking “Filter By Type” on the left-hand side of the page on the desktop version of Sched. “All Teachers” Sessions are for all staff. “K-2 Teachers” are targeted for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Teachers, 9-12 Teachers for High School teachers, etc. For example, a Kindergarten teacher can click “K-2 Teachers” and see all sessions that would apply to them. You can further filter by sub-type in each area, by hovering over the type: review session titles and descriptions for more specific information. The search feature in the top right is also helpful for finding sessions using keywords.

  • Networking and Collaboration Sessions: These sessions are provided for many content areas, grade levels, and specialty areas. Filter by the session type that best matches your role to see if a Networking and Collaboration/Job Alike session is offered.

Lindsey Sipe has over 16 years of experience in the field of digital teaching and learning. Lindsey's journey began as an elementary school teacher for four years before transitioning to the district office for one of the largest urban school districts in the nation, where she continued her mission to enhance educational practices through technology. Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Michigan State University, Lindsey's academic achievements reflect her dedication to advancing education. Currently serving as the Southwest Regional Consultant and DLI Grants Manager at the North Carolina Department of Instruction, she remains committed to impacting instruction positively and preparing students for the future. Beyond her professional endeavors, Lindsey finds joy in being a wife and mother to a human child, as well as to two golden doodle children, she resides in the Lake Norman Area of Charlotte, NC area. Her speaking engagements, infused with enthusiasm and genuine passion for education, equity, innovation, and technology, inspire educators and stakeholders nationwide, leaving a lasting impression on the future of learning (or so Chat GPT says ;).
