  • All Staff: Choose ONE Keynote and ONE Lunch

  • Required Sessions: Attend sessions that are noted as required for your role. This will be communicated from the department or area you work with (Exceptional Children, Student Services, etc.). 

  • Filtering Sessions: You can filter sessions by clicking “Filter By Type” on the left-hand side of the page on the desktop version of Sched. “All Teachers” Sessions are for all staff. “K-2 Teachers” are targeted for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Teachers, 9-12 Teachers for High School teachers, etc. For example, a Kindergarten teacher can click “K-2 Teachers” and see all sessions that would apply to them. You can further filter by sub-type in each area, by hovering over the type: review session titles and descriptions for more specific information. The search feature in the top right is also helpful for finding sessions using keywords.

  • Networking and Collaboration Sessions: These sessions are provided for many content areas, grade levels, and specialty areas. Filter by the session type that best matches your role to see if a Networking and Collaboration/Job Alike session is offered.

Our purpose is to present to teachers a variety of activities and strategies they can take back and use in their classrooms immediately. These activities and strategies will help teachers support students who are twice-exceptional and can be used in any subject area. Teachers attending our session will be engaged in discussions as well as participate in some of the strategies presented. A copy of the presentation, along with digital links for additional resources, will be provided to all attendees.

We hope to provide time for administrator's to play in the platforms while also providing resources they can use with their own staff. We hope to use a train the trainer approach in which school leaders can provide PD to their staff in the future.

This session will provide teachers with a variety of strategies and ideas to support high energy engagement and accountability within their classrooms. These strategies are meant to increase student accountability and decrease/change unwanted behaviors. Teacher will engage with video and scenarios of examples of the strategies or how they could implement a strategy. There will be a take home sheet with ideas/strategies that can be implemented immediately in the classroom.
