  • All Staff: Choose ONE Keynote and ONE Lunch

  • Required Sessions: Attend sessions that are noted as required for your role. This will be communicated from the department or area you work with (Exceptional Children, Student Services, etc.). 

  • Filtering Sessions: You can filter sessions by clicking “Filter By Type” on the left-hand side of the page on the desktop version of Sched. “All Teachers” Sessions are for all staff. “K-2 Teachers” are targeted for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Teachers, 9-12 Teachers for High School teachers, etc. For example, a Kindergarten teacher can click “K-2 Teachers” and see all sessions that would apply to them. You can further filter by sub-type in each area, by hovering over the type: review session titles and descriptions for more specific information. The search feature in the top right is also helpful for finding sessions using keywords.

  • Networking and Collaboration Sessions: These sessions are provided for many content areas, grade levels, and specialty areas. Filter by the session type that best matches your role to see if a Networking and Collaboration/Job Alike session is offered.

Visualizing Data with Canva and CODAP

This session is about making data more accessible to all students. Attendees will learn how to create visuals of data (such as line plots, bar graphs) using, which students can use in collaboration of data analysis and interpretation. We will also learn about CODAP, how to upload data sets, the different ways to manipulate data, and how to turn the data into visuals. Resources include access to presentation and folder with examples and links provided.

Getting the most out of Delta Math

If you are new to using Delta Math in your classroom, or would like to learn more about best practices and using it to the extent of its capabilities, this session is for you. We will not only learn the basics of how to navigate the platform and how to create assignments and assessments that align to your standards, but also how to create individualized remediation assignments and retests to help students reach mastery of all objectives, through assigning only the objectives that each student personally needs to remediate with ease. This session, will also include how to directly link your assignments to Canvas and your online grade book so that students and parents have access to immediate notification of assignment due dates, missing assignments, and real time grades. Join us to learn all of the wonderful capabilities that Delta Math classroom has to offer.

Engage, Enhance, and Extend with Lumio

Increase student engagement and ownership with the use of interactive, collaborative activities through Lumio. Teachers will learn the basics of Lumio to be able to increase engagement, enhance lessons and extend learning. Lumio provides pre-made or customizable collaborative graphic organizers, game-based learning, and the ability to toggle between student-paced or teacher-paced lessons. Teachers will engage in learning about Lumio through a paced lesson on Lumio as if they were a student.
