  • All Staff: Choose ONE Keynote and ONE Lunch

  • Required Sessions: Attend sessions that are noted as required for your role. This will be communicated from the department or area you work with (Exceptional Children, Student Services, etc.). 

  • Filtering Sessions: You can filter sessions by clicking “Filter By Type” on the left-hand side of the page on the desktop version of Sched. “All Teachers” Sessions are for all staff. “K-2 Teachers” are targeted for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Teachers, 9-12 Teachers for High School teachers, etc. For example, a Kindergarten teacher can click “K-2 Teachers” and see all sessions that would apply to them. You can further filter by sub-type in each area, by hovering over the type: review session titles and descriptions for more specific information. The search feature in the top right is also helpful for finding sessions using keywords.

  • Networking and Collaboration Sessions: These sessions are provided for many content areas, grade levels, and specialty areas. Filter by the session type that best matches your role to see if a Networking and Collaboration/Job Alike session is offered.

Student Ownership in Math Workshop and Task Boards Using Unpacking Documents, iReady, Mastery Connect, and Math In Practice.

In this session, participants will learn all about effective structures they can implement to visualize and run a smooth math workshop and effectively incorporate CCS curriculum and resources supporting student engagement. Participants will hear about accessible mathematical tasks, open-ended problem solving, small-group instruction, student choice, and time for practicing important concepts which allows inclusion of the Standards of Mathematical Practice and 21st Century Skills to happen authentically. Participants will have the opportunity to see video clips, classroom arrangement, routines & procedures, mathematics community, and station samples of learning in action. Audience members will walk away with Math Workshop Considerations and Recommendation ideas and resources to utilize as they set up their own learning space!

L.E.D in Action: Grades 2/3

The goal of the session is to help 2nd and 3rd grade teachers implement the L.E.D model in their classroom. During the presentation, the attendees will participate in a model lesson and receive tips to ensure success in their own classroom. One of the model lessons will be geared towards addition and subtraction (3 digit within 1,000) for 2nd and 3rd grade standards.
