Important Information
  • All Staff: Choose ONE Keynote and ONE Lunch

  • Required Sessions: Attend sessions that are noted as required for your role. This will be communicated from the department or area you work with (Exceptional Children, Student Services, etc.). 

  • Filtering Sessions: You can filter sessions by clicking “Filter By Type” on the left-hand side of the page on the desktop version of Sched. “All Teachers” Sessions are for all staff. “K-2 Teachers” are targeted for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Teachers, 9-12 Teachers for High School teachers, etc. For example, a Kindergarten teacher can click “K-2 Teachers” and see all sessions that would apply to them. You can further filter by sub-type in each area, by hovering over the type: review session titles and descriptions for more specific information. The search feature in the top right is also helpful for finding sessions using keywords.

  • Networking and Collaboration Sessions: These sessions are provided for many content areas, grade levels, and specialty areas. Filter by the session type that best matches your role to see if a Networking and Collaboration/Job Alike session is offered.

This session is designed to equip participants with the tools and strategies needed to harness the potential of Breakouts in their classrooms. Educators will delve into the concept and benefits of these innovative teaching methods, exploring various platforms and tools to create engaging learning experiences. They will learn to seamlessly integrate digital and physical breakouts into existing curriculum frameworks, while also discovering techniques to cater to diverse learner needs and differentiate instruction effectively. Best practices for facilitating interactive learning experiences will be shared, fostering student engagement and motivation. Through collaborative brainstorming sessions, educators will craft tailored breakout activities, promoting creativity and collaboration in educational practices. By the session's end, educators will be empowered to transform their classrooms into dynamic environments where active learning thrives.
