Important Information
  • All Staff: Choose ONE Keynote and ONE Lunch

  • Required Sessions: Attend sessions that are noted as required for your role. This will be communicated from the department or area you work with (Exceptional Children, Student Services, etc.). 

  • Filtering Sessions: You can filter sessions by clicking “Filter By Type” on the left-hand side of the page on the desktop version of Sched. “All Teachers” Sessions are for all staff. “K-2 Teachers” are targeted for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Teachers, 9-12 Teachers for High School teachers, etc. For example, a Kindergarten teacher can click “K-2 Teachers” and see all sessions that would apply to them. You can further filter by sub-type in each area, by hovering over the type: review session titles and descriptions for more specific information. The search feature in the top right is also helpful for finding sessions using keywords.

  • Networking and Collaboration Sessions: These sessions are provided for many content areas, grade levels, and specialty areas. Filter by the session type that best matches your role to see if a Networking and Collaboration/Job Alike session is offered.

The presentation will focus on redefining academic integrity in the age of AI, emphasizing the need for a proactive and inclusive approach. It will explore how AI can be leveraged to enhance learning and foster ethical practices while maintaining the methods and tools needed for disciplinary teaching and learning.

Key Objectives:
-Educators will be able to understand the capabilities and limitations of AI in education.
-Educators will be able to address the challenges posed by AI-generated content.
-Educators will be able to develop a school-wide policy that promotes responsible AI use.
-Educators will be able to integrate AI literacy into the curriculum.
-Educators will be able to foster a culture of ethical decision-making and critical thinking.
Teaching and Learning Strategies:
-Interactive lesson plans and scenarios involving AI-generated content.
-Hands-on activities to explore AI tools and their potential applications.
