Important Information
  • All Staff: Choose ONE Keynote and ONE Lunch

  • Required Sessions: Attend sessions that are noted as required for your role. This will be communicated from the department or area you work with (Exceptional Children, Student Services, etc.). 

  • Filtering Sessions: You can filter sessions by clicking “Filter By Type” on the left-hand side of the page on the desktop version of Sched. “All Teachers” Sessions are for all staff. “K-2 Teachers” are targeted for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Teachers, 9-12 Teachers for High School teachers, etc. For example, a Kindergarten teacher can click “K-2 Teachers” and see all sessions that would apply to them. You can further filter by sub-type in each area, by hovering over the type: review session titles and descriptions for more specific information. The search feature in the top right is also helpful for finding sessions using keywords.

  • Networking and Collaboration Sessions: These sessions are provided for many content areas, grade levels, and specialty areas. Filter by the session type that best matches your role to see if a Networking and Collaboration/Job Alike session is offered.

“Showcasing IB Excellence: A Reflective Approach” will emphasize the importance of self-reflection and continuous improvement in preparing for the evaluation visit. It will encourage stakeholders to critically examine their practices, celebrate successes, and identify areas for growth.

Educators will be able to reflect on the comprehensive self-study and efforts in gathering evidence of teaching and learning in an IB classroom.
Educators will be able to reflect on the culture of reflective practice and professional growth.
Educators will be able to celebrate the achievements and sharing of best practices.
Educators will be able to identify areas for improvement and agree upon professional action plans towards the next evaluation period.
Educators will be able promote growth mindset and embrace feedback.

Reciprocal Engagement:
-Guided self-reflection exercises for teachers and administrators.
-Showcasing student work and achievements.
-Planning discussions with students, teachers, alumni and community members.
